The stand itself seems to be good quality, but could not install due to the brackets being too long to fit between crash bar and side stand, Didn't feel like trying to modify the brackets or remove my side stand. Returned it for Refund.

This stand will only work on 2022 and 2023 KLR's that do not have the lower stock engine guards that are on the KLR Adventure. I purchased this thinking it would fit my 2022 KLR Adventure, it will if you remove the engine bars you can see in the picture that the brackets are to long and have a extra hole in them. I'm thinking that may be for after marked engine guards of some kind but I'm not sure. Being that they fit and it was the stand type I was looking for I just cut the extra length off of both brackets and refinished them. It assembled easy. I did not use the bolts that came with it, a 13 mm was to small and a 14 mm was about half size to big and I don't think there is a 13.5 mm socket so I just bought the correct 8 mm bolts like came out of it but longer. The stand is of good quality and craftsman ship. I like the fact that the stand itself is one piece and I like the fact that it only raises the rear wheel about the thickness of a pencil. That may not work for some but for what I wanted it for, it will do just fine.
