Very stout and robust build. Thumb jimping is deep and course but not at all objectionable against an ungloved thumb. Medium depth finger guard that is up to the task. Very tight grained Micarta handles that are smooth to the touch with red liners underneath. Clean and even grind lines throughout the knife steel. Sheath is also well made. Heavy leather, good and robust stitching and rivets throughout. Sheath can be belt carried either vertical or horizontal. My one knock would be the blade is not super sharp...just needs touched up to get the edge polished and sharpened....a solid knife that would be at home around many a campfire or hunting camp...
