Bamboo Cutting Board with Locking Lid

This is a nice, attractive, and useful serving board. The bamboo wood is very classy looking and has a somewhat shiny finish to it. The cover attaches well and keeps bugs away when we are serving outside. It is not too big but does hold a lot and is easy to carry. My wife has gotten compliments and been asked where she bought it, so she is happy too. All in all, a good addition to our serving pieces.

In concept, 2-in-1 sounds good, but since the cutting board side has glued corners, I’ll probably just use as a charcuterie board6 compartments total, 3 squarish and 3 rectangularNot big enough to bring to potluck, but good size for family picnic or small gatheringThe locking lid is the best part of this. You can make the arrangement ahead of time and store in frig till time to serveSpace saving cause you can stack things on top-lid is sturdy thick plastic

Wonderful little cutting/charcuterie board. I specifically ordered it for use as a charcuterie board. I often have lots of olives and jams and having the little cutouts so the juicy bits don't run all over the place and mix with the other items is a life saver. I love the lid as well. Not only does it keep the bugs off, but it also allows me to carry the board with confidence up my stairs.One think to keep in mind, the lid is one-way only in terms of the locking clasps. AKA it covers the charcuterie side, but you can't use it to lock and cover the cutting board side. You can still cover the cutting board side, if perhaps, like me, you put a batch of scones on it, but you can't lock the handles.My rating scale:5 Star: Item is exactly as advertised, appears to be of lasting quality, and is worth the purchase price.4 Star: Item hits most of what it was advertised to do but has a minor drawback or isn't worth what's being charged.3 Star: Item is barely adequate. This is a nice sized charcuterie board. It is pretty lightweight. The cover is sturdy enough for general use but I will be careful not to put any real pressure against it. Absolutely fine for transporting. It came packaged really well. My one small complaint as this is marketed as a cutting board as well and that is not the case. If you turn it over, there is no way you can realistically use it as a cutting board as there is a small border that negates the purpose. And I don't think the wood would hold up to a knife.

This item is exactly as described in the listing. The bamboo is well carved and smooth, very sleek. The lids fits well and comes in handy if you want to prepare your board ahead of time and store in the fridge.It would be great if this was available in a larger size, but it is perfect the way it is.

I love that the board is sectioned and has a lid for easy transport. Seems to be great quality and will hold up for many years. Only wish it was a bit bigger, as it will probably feed 4 and no more.

WHY?! Why would anyone use a chemical on wood that you're going to put food on?!The smell is so strong! I can not imagine it ever airing out enough to use it! Any food would absorb the smell and taste like this finish or glue.This could have been really nice. The cover locks on and it's high enough that you could pile your snacks up.No way would I have bought this if I saw it in person. (see photos) I would have gone right up to it to buy it, since this appeals to me. But as soon as I smelled it, I'd walk away.
