Really, the ground stakes for outside, thin plastic that can't be tapped into ground without crunching? Did anyone test this? Very disappointed.

Kids used it as a game for their party - which was fun for all. Good quality and just what I was looking for - not too heavy and not too light - for young/middle school aged kids.. I expect we will have this game for years.

The horseshoes are pretty good - ample weight, yet don't tear up the grass. They do bounce a bit, if thrown tilted, but that's expected. What I don't like at all are the posts. I'm not sure I knew they'd be plastic. Really? The manufacturer couldn't have used wooden ones and just charged a little more? I certainly would have paid more. As it stands now, we've only used ours a few times and already the posts are bent (and, yes, we use a rubber mallet to put them in the ground). Will wind up making our own. I wish companies today would learn from those of the 50s & 60s, because you got what you paid for back then. Things LASTED!!

This is a fun and safe game, kids can play horseshoes without hurting themselves or being too heavy, colors are good too, so they know what horseshoes are theirs.
