The anchor is made from Zinc Alloy. This anchor is designed for use in Concrete, Block, and Brick.
Environment
The anchor is designed for use in a Moist environment.
Hole Diameter/Bit Diameter
The anchor requires a 7/8" hole to be drilled in the base material (Concrete, Block, and Brick). The hole should be drilled with carbide tipped bit that meets ANSI standards and used in a hammer drill.
Minimum Embedment
The minimum anchor embedment into the concrete is 2-1/2". Therefore, the anchor must be installed so that a minimum of 2-1/2" of the anchor is embedded into the concrete.
Spacing between Anchors
Each anchor must be spaced a minimum distance of 8-3/4" from each other when measured center to center.
Edge Distance
It is very important not to install the anchor any closer than 4-3/8" from an unsupported edge of the concrete.

Most anchors either just dig in or expand in One Direction and tightening them tends to break concrete block or even cement. These expand in and out in opposing directions making it much much stronger and safer. Really good for concrete block which is brittle and easy to crack when anchoring. I use them to build a kennel and it's been 30 years and not one has loosened up.

Most anchors are ok if pulling straight down the wall. If the stress is OUT , then you need the best application,this double anchors.
