The seeds should not be planted deeply; they just need to be compressed into the soil, as they need light to germinate. If planting in rows, then plant the seeds 6” to 8” apart.

These varieties of bluebonnet seeds generally germinate in about 10-15 days. You can thin the seedlings to 6” to 8” apart after they emerge. Bluebonnets should be watered regularly, but they can tolerate dry conditions. It is not necessary to fertilize bluebonnets.

I ordered two packets for an event and had to count and separate them into smaller baggies. There was 700 seeds in one bag and 650 in the second. Needless to say I didn't have enough to finish my project.

I planted over 100 seeds 2 weeks ago. 4 of them have sprouted. So disappointed.4/16 - Seller contacted me and they are sending me more seeds. Hopefully these will grow.
