A built-in mass disc offers a good starting point for most designs, and a convenient M5 threaded hole (screw included) allows different types of weights to be added if desired. Cosmetically and mechanically, the passives match the Shielded DVC line of subwoofers, with a poly coated paper cone and medium-roll rubber surround for clean excursion and long life. The possibilities with these passives are endless, from floor standing two-ways to small active/passive subwoofer systems. 製品の裏側写真には、金属の重りが映っているのに、到着した製品には同梱されていない。これでは詐欺としか言いようがない。しかも、このクレームをメーカーに問い合わせしたくても、海外メーカーということで、それもできないため返品しました。

このパッシブラジエーターとMarkaudioの10cmウーファーCHBW-70を2発使って、3Dウーファーを作ってみました。ネットワークは、コンデンサーとコイルを組み合わせて150Hz以上の高域をカットするようにしました。アンプから3D出力を得るのではなく、通常と同じように2個のCHBW-70を別々にアンプの通常の左右出力に接続し、スピーカー内部で左右の音をミックスするようにして3Dにしています。ですから、ネットワークも左右別々に2つ作りました。このネットワーク部分が結構お金がかかってしまいました。大きさも、かなり無理矢理にコンパクトなサイズにしましたが、それでも50-60Hzあたりは結構な音圧を出す事が出来ました。ネットワークのおかげで中高域は綺麗にカットされています。小型システムと合わせて使うと、しっかり低音が出てきてかなりご機嫌です。

カロッツェリア サブウーファー TS-W2520 とパッシブ ラジエータ SD215-PR 20cm でエンクロージャーは自作で組みました。おそらくパッシブ ラジエータはサブウーファーに対してオーバースペックだと思いますが、十分仕事してると思います。箱の容積は17Lでいいので、かなりコンパクトにできました。アンプはカロッツェリア GM-D1400-2 でモノラルブリッジ接続です。(安価＆省電力)ヘッドユニットはナビ付トヨタ純正なので、ビートソニックBH8 で配線を分岐しました。特別加工もなく、安価に組めたので上出来でした！前車では既製品のパワードサブウーファーを付けてましたが、低域の伸びやキレが全然違い、レベルが高くできたと思います。箱の切り出しが大変でしたが、満足度は高いです。UD-SW250D に似せて作り、逆さに置いた方がダウンファイヤリング効果なのかよく届くようです。車体はC-HRですが、スペアタイヤスペースに余裕で収まったので、トランクを一切犠牲にせず済んだので良かったです！

The speaker did not last 5 min although another reviewer stated it replaced a speaker on a super junior sub.

I’m building my own speaker box with with this passive sub. It advertises as an 8 inch sub but the speaker is actually 7 inches and the diameter is 8 inches with the lip included. So basically I’m saying the the speaker is only 7 inches. Although it’s small size it works beautifully with 2 pyle 6.5 inch 2-ways. Doesn’t come with screws.

What a difference!! These 8" passsive radiators are being pushed by 12" subwoofers. The extra bass shakes, rattles and rolls your teeth! I'd considered a pair of 10" p/r but read that 8" would be more than enough to produce chest thumping bass at low volume. The sound quality is much improved and the radiators look just like speakers versus the old design (flat surfaced).

This is an actual speaker minus the voice coil and magnet. It has nice travel and works perfectly as a passive radiator. Better than your standard foam one since it actually resonates sound from the cone. And you can't beat the price. Great for any undersized cabinet. I installed this on the back of a 10 inch sub woofer that I put into an 8 inch cabinet. Now I have a nice compact sub in the passive radiator essentially increases the volume of the cabinet.

i never got around to use it but the construction of this is amazing reflexes is crazy good, i wish i had a video where i can show how good it works. the way this speaker works is that when you have a speaker the same size or bigger the bass pushes threw this speaker for example if you can imagine a speaker box now put the speaker in the hole, after that imagine another box infront of the speaker like just a small box so for example [__o]__o]

My favorite pair of speakers is an old set of Fishers that I found on the street the night before garbage collection. They were the best speakers I ever had. After many years, the passive radiators just dried out and fell apart. I used these as replacements, and they sound just fine. Yes, I tested them out with "Who's Next" and "Sticky Fingers." They sound just fine.I actually called the company directly to ask a few questions; the person at the phone was knowledgeable and assured me that there is a no-hassle return policy. I'd buy from them in a flash.

I bought this as a replacement radiator to an old set of speakers. What I was unaware of was that this item has a downward facing lip which adds to the size. To get this to fit I will have to carve about 1mm around the opening. Even then the radiator will be resting on this lip instead of flat against the case.On a side note; shipping cost half of the price of the item and came very slowly. Overall very disappointed with this product.

I used these as passive radiators for a home built project. They come with a mounting machine screw so you can attach weights to the cone to dial your setup in more precisely, and the construction seems good.I used these passive radiators to a different model of subwoofer than these were designed to be used with, but the sound quality is still good, so unless you are very picky, these can be used with woofers other than Dayton.Good construction, good price, clean look...good enough for me to give them 5 stars.
