I purchased this to control a linear actuator mounted in the engine compartment of my motorhome from the driver's seat. It worked perfectly. As others have said, the instructions are garbage. They must have worked long into the night to craft so much crap. The best help I can supply is to look at the video they have. Power and ground connect to the two left positions and they are marked plus and minus. Note that the connection for the actuator is the middle two of six possibilities. You can choose which is plus or minus. I wanted the actuator to extend when I pressed the top button on the remote control, and retract when I depressed the bottom button. I connected the wires so that was the action. If you reverse the wires the opposite movements occur. After pushing a button to command movement, you must push the middle button before pushing the other button to reverse the movement. This operation is somewhat frustrating since I have no indication that the actuator moved as I desires since it is located in the engine compartment. A better design would have been to have only two buttons and not forced us to remember to always press the middle button.

I got this thing last night. The instructions are garbage. If I can't intuitively get this thing to work I'm sending it back.I have figured it out so I'm changing my review from one star to 4 stars. With better instructions, it warrants a 5.People who sell this, put a picture of the remote control on the instructions and indicate which button is up and which is down. Also, for the wiring, make it make more sense. I had to use a multimeter to decipher what wire does what.A technical product is useless without proper instructions.
