A simple solution for reverse polarity switching. Used this on a 2000 Silverado, upgrading outside power mirrors to power folding. Perfect for DC motors that have a current draw of least than 10 Amp.

I use this relay module to control the door on my chicken coop, and it’s worked just like I hoped. I hooked it up with a linear actuator and a timer relay, now the door opens in the morning and closes at night without me having to do anything. The wiring looked a little confusing at first, but the diagram that came with it helped a lot. I’m running it with a pulse, so it doesn’t stay powered the whole time. The little indicator lights are useful for checking which way it’s moving. It definitely simplified the setup compared to using two separate relays.

I chose this DC 12V forward/reverse relay module to control the winch motor on my custom utility trailer.It worked right out of the box. It's well packaged, inputs and outputs are clearly labeled, and the materials are high quality. I mounted it in a waterproof box under the trailer chassis, and it handled the elements - dust, vibration, moisture - with no problems.It performed very well. I hooked it up to a two-position momentary rocker switch, and the response was very fast - click "forward" and the winch spool tightens. Click "reverse" and the winch spool unwinds. It's that simple. The relay doesn't stick, there's no buzzing or noticeable delay, and the transitions are clean. Works great!
