This does an excellent job of aerating red wines. It is particularly effective when used with a decanter. We use it for all our red wines.

This is NOT the actual product in the description. This is a display item for sellers. Hence the plastic display platform and the retractable wire cord that chains the aerator to the platform. It did not arrive in original packaging or with the accessories shown in the description. I agree with an earlier review who suggests it’s a stolen display. The seller obviously doesn’t even know what it’s supposed to be. I too am returning this item so I hope the next guy who receives it will know what’s up. I’m sure it’ll be boxed back up and sold again. Maybe we should hide notes inside the platform?

Wonderful! This device exceeded all expectations. What was most impressive was that it recovered very good wines that you has let overage a little. The before/after test was remarkable. However, use it on every glass of red.

We saw this handy decanter at a relative's house. The decanter is easy to use and helps speed the process of aerating red wine!

Ok let's be real. Is this seriously not a scale model of a human uterus? Does no one else see this? Either way, let's get our sulfite facts straight. You don't get headaches from them. If you're sensitive, you are among an exclusive 1% of humans and will have asthma like symptoms. Generally at all times, not just from wine since sulfites are legit everywhere. While this aerator does remove them (from your wine, at least) the only reason it does so is because they float away in air, to put it simply. More AERating, more sad floaty sulfites (they're sad because they like wine too. They're actually the reason we have nice things). Alternatively, open your bottle 20 minutes early, or don't chug the glass as soon as it's poured. Certainly don't drink out of the bottle, unless you like sulfites as much as I do. But that's how you get headaches. But not from the sulfites. Just from the drinking out of the bottle and all that usually entails. Anywho, that's beside the point. Sulfites do not equal headaches. All in all, this is not an entirely useless gadget. It will indeed do what it says, even though taking a little time to admire your wine in the glass will do exactly same thing. So if you love gadgets, passionately hate sulfites, don't have THAT friend (me) who has to ruin everything for you, and aren't phased by red wine pouring out of... wherever (your Decantus Classic Aerator in this case) then by all means, fork over that cash!

This is a fabulous product. The aerating system really works and you feel so much better the next morning. No headache. The biggest problem with this product is remembering to use it. But when you do, it brings out the quality and tastes to unbelievable heights.

I tried a few of those and this is the best so far. Constant result until the last drop. Remove sulfites naturally. I highly recommend this product. It's more expensive than others but it's definitely worth it.
