This is indeed much quieter than the typical shop vac although its suction is not that powerful. It has these large paper bags. I have not tried it on wet. Big drawback is that it has a very short cord--not sure why they made it that way. Seems like an odd thing to scrimp on.

I’ve owned many shop vacuums, but this vacuum has strong suction yet it’s quiet enough to use without ear protection. Used it to clean up both dry debris and spilled liquids - worked like a charm. Highly recommend

Love the low noise and compact size for job sites. Only wish the hose was 2-3 feet longer for reaching farther. Otherwise, it’s a tank—handles drywall dust and metal shavings without blinking.

Bought this for my woodworking shop. This thing runs quieter than kitchen blender but sucks up sawdust and wood chips like a beast. The tank is easy to empty, and the hose hasn't cracked after 2 months of daily use (unlike my last 3 vacuums). Worth every cent!
