Got this because I wanted to have a dedicated scale for my 3D printing to track the amount of filament I'm using in projects and I felt like a kitchen scale might lack the fidelity I was looking for. I realized after I opened the box and read the instruction manual (which is easy to read btw) that I may have went overboard as this feels like a "prosumer" level scale. The scales pan measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter, the functions are easy to understand, the display is easy to read and backlit well. The base of the scale has rubber feet that keep it from sliding, the hanging hook on the bottom is odd maybe its for storage? There's two compartments in the bottom of the scale the first for the 2 AAA batteries (generic ones included) and a compartment for a 100g weight to test your scale and testing with the scale shows its accurate to the 100th of a gram. The top of the scale has a spirit level to make sure you're getting an accurate read and out of the box everything worked great.Bottom Line: If you need a scale with proper resolution this one is a great pick

This scale works ok, but the readings can randomly be off by up to 0.25g. I like the ease of calibration, and I like the onboard storage for the 100g calibration weight. Also, the scale has adjustable feet and a bullseye level, for more accurate measurements. But, the accuracy is a problem. Even after leveling the scale and calibrating it multiple times, the glitch persists. Using the included 100g calibration weight, the scale will correctly read 100.00g most of the time, about 95%. But, the other 5% of the time, the scale will be off by up to +/-0.25g. It's really strange because 20+ readings in a row will show 100g and the next reading at the exact same location will read 100.25g. This makes it unusable as a precision scale.

I sell gemstones and precious metals online from time to time and this scale is exactly perfect for my needs. When someone is paying by the gram for something like gold , there is no room for error. My testing proved it to be highly accurate.Works perfectly. I cannot give this scale as many stars as it deserves!

I needed a scale to mix small amounts of paint, where precise ratios are adjusted by adding drops of catalyst to alter the paint’s properties. After trying several brands that failed for various reasons, I finally found this scale, and it performs exceptionally well. It’s highly sensitive, registering every single drop. To test its accuracy, I placed 26.05g of water in a cup, removed 1.05g with a pipette, and slowly added it back drop by drop. The scale detected each drop, and by the end, it read very close to 26.05g. Among all the scales I’ve tried, this one is by far the most sensitive and accurate. The scale is well-designed, with a compartment on the back for two AAA batteries and a 100g calibration weight. When I tested the weight, it initially read 100.34g, but I easily calibrated it using the clear, included instructions. The scale supports multiple units, including common ones and even “tl,” which I hadn’t encountered before. Despite its precision, the scale feels lightweight, almost like an empty plastic case, but it’s sturdy enough. Adjustable legs and a bubble level ensure accurate leveling, and the buttons are user-friendly and responsive. The back light can be turned on or off. It has auto off and piece count. There are a couple of minor drawbacks. Occasionally, the 100g weight registers slightly off, such as 99.90g-ish or 100.10g-ish. Pressing lightly on the scale with a finger and taring it resolves this, sometimes after a couple of tries. This quirk may stem from the scale’s high sensitivity. Additionally, a protective cover or case, like those included with some other scales, would have been a nice addition. These issues are minor, though, and don’t detract from its overall performance. This is a fantastic scale, well worth checking out, and I’m very happy with it.

This is a cute scale that comes with a 100g calibration weight, which is a good thing because the scale arrived out of calibration by .96 grams at when using the 100g weight - that's a lot for a .01 gram resolution balance. One feature I do like is that there is a storage compartment in the bottom of the balance for the weight so you don't damage or lose track of it.It self zeros on start up, as is usual for electronic scales. The scale has a built in bubble level and leveling feet, which is a nice feature for a .01 gram resolution balance as being out of level will through off the readings.Overall, I'm happy with this scale but I'm still surprised it arrived so far out of calibration.

I got this for rebuilding car engines actually. When doing performance upgrades it’s really useful to balance the different rotating components and match them all in weight and a scale like this is very helpful! I have another lab scale but it’s much bigger and annoying to carry around so this one is better. Having the extra resolution gives me a lot more confidence that my parts are actually the same weight. The 100g mass that it comes with is pretty cool too! On both this scale, and another one I have, it measured at 100.00 grams, so good enough for me
