Hasp will not fit over the u-bar if used in a corner location, ya know, supposedly what it was designed for....junk!

If putting it in a corner with a sliding door (example like a garage or a pocket door) the hasp will not fit over the U bar. Hasp female end must be cut to be a lot wider for it it even try to be somewhat functional in order to accept the Male U bar end.
