Works great! Install was not simple. At all. If the screws had heads left I might have been able to leave the abs unit on the vehicle, reducing labor time by hours. I wish this product came with new screws.

This was for my 2001 Chevy Tahoe 2WD LT. Other than a pain to install, this unit from Dorman (599-700) was nicely refurbished. On a side note, I have used Dorman for MANY aftermarket products and have NEVER had a bad experience. Dorman is my first choice, always!

Amazon refers me to Dorman for my 200.00 core credit. In emails thus far Dorman has no idea what I am talking about. The Dorman site has refused to give me a FED X return number. Thus far the Dorman site does not even know I bought the part. The part works fine, but I wonder If it is AMAZON or DORMAN stiffing me for the 200.00 bucks?

This worked perfectly. There was a ‘core refund’ and Dorman could not have been more helpful in walking me through the process. They even paid the return shipping. I would definitely but from them again.

Replaced 2001 tahoe abs unit w/o traction control, worked flawlessly once it had the wheel speed sensor and tire size calibrated. If anyone had an issue where there rear brakes were wearing incredibly fast, this fixed my issue. The old abs unit wasn't able to keep the pressure up to the front brakes and properly proportion from front to back. This fixed my issue, great product, I recommended picking up new abs module torx bolts for mine were rusted and stripped.
