Original Honda part physically failed after 12+ years so I replaced with what I thought was a quality part because of the Dorman name. Worked well for three months, then all my locks in the entire car were trying to continuously lock all the time. Figured it was another actuator starting to fail since it was intermittent (figured it could not be the newly replaced part). Put up with it since it would go away after a series of tries between 3-10 seconds. Got worse at the two year mark and finally the passenger side failed. That must be the one right ? replaced the passenger actuator. Passenger side fixed; but Autolocks still bad as before. Decided to finally fix this issue since it was getting annoying (yes, i considered removing the autolock feature at speed, but like the feature). Sealed a top seam leak, fuse boxes, but rear control unit was dry. tested each of the remaining connections to no avail, so ended-up being the Dorman driver door actuator. Replaced with new one 4 times less in cost. Everything is good again. We'll see if the cheap part lasts longer (also made in CN). Admittedly, the Dorman part was less than half the cost from the Dealer, but having more experience with many installed Dorman parts now, I would suggest Honda, trying other brands, or just go cheap and take your chances.

Like the exact fit as OEM Honda part; utube video helps if needed; take your time to remove old lock actuator and replace

I purchased and installed this in my Honda Odyssey' driver's front door a couple weeks ago. So for it's working fine. I'd recommend anyone who is slightly mechanically-minded to do the same if their door actuator fails. DIY can save you a lot of $$$. Before you buy, find a good instructional video (YouTube). Also, you might want to try to loosen the large bolts that hold the lock mechanism in place; they're visible when the door is open. On my car these bolts were installed with some Loc-Tite (or similar) adhesive and were VERY difficult to remove. Once you're sure about getting the bolts loose, the rest of the job is tedious and awkward, working in a tight space with limited visibility, but it's worth it.Some advice about the choice of actuator: I had replaced the actuator in the same door with one made by another brand, which was much cheaper, a couple months earlier. The cheap one failed after only a couple months. It also somehow interfered with my car's electronics, such that while it was installed, the car's rear liftgate would not lock. The liftgate would close and stay closed, but it could always be opened with the exterior door handle. It never locked. At first I thought the rear liftgate actuator had also failed, and I was getting ready to replace it, but when I put the Dorman actuator in the driver's door, to replace the cheap one that had failed, the liftgate actuator started working perfectly again. So, the cheap actuator not only failed after a short time, it was also causing other things to malfunction. The Dorman, in contrast, is working correctly. We'll see if it lasts ...

Fit perfectly and works great. This replacement t part is difficult to get to and requires taking multiple components of the door, lock and window systems apart, but it’s doable. Swapping the part is a two minute job. But getting to the part and reassembling took me total 90 minutes, start to finish. I am not a mechanic. Results were fantastic and coat

This works in a 2007 Honda Pilot EX. I replaced 3 of the 4 original actuators that had failed (two in the rear, and one in the front. Dorman part numbers 746-301 and 746-302 - be sure to order the one(s) you need. The part numbers are different for the Left and Right sides. The parts were a very good fit.Watch a couple of the videos on You Tube. The front actuator was a lot easier to replace than the ones on the rear doors.I tried using an impact driver to remove the 3 screws in the latch mechanism, but it didn't work well. Those screws are extremely tight. It took about an hour per door to remove and replace the actuator.

Please do yourself a favor and buy the OE actuator. I replaced one on my 2007 Odyssey and it started making horrible buzzing noise within weeks. I was too busy to replace it with a new one and of course the return time expired. I thought it was just mine that failed, but apparently it a common issue with those actuators. I bought the second one thinking that maybe it was me who didn’t do right job. Now I know that it’s not just me who has the same issue. Will return both the new one and old one as a present.

This part seemed to match the OE part from Honda. For half the price! I have had it in my 2008 Honda Odyssey for several months and works perfect. Relatively easy to install if you know what you are doing, look at Utube for help. I was very happy with the result and the price.

10-26-14 Update:I finally got around to installing the 2005 driver's side actuator the dealer sold me. Guess what, it is the wrong part. Here's the scoop: There are two different versions of the 2005 CR/V, one version made in Japan and one made in England. For some insane reason, the door actuators are different on each version..... This part fits the version that comes from Japan. I returned it based on what the part looked like in a video I watched showing how to replace it. Well, turns out that video was for a Great Britain version. Mine is a Japan version, sooooo in fact this part IS probably the right part for my 2005 CR/V. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Hope this helps someone else order correctly.Original review:Although this item is listed as compatible with my 2005 Honda CRV, it, in fact, is the wrong part. Others have also remarked about this error but it has not been fixed as of when I ordered and subsequently returned it.

Bought and installed this part for my girlfriend's 2003 Honda Accord Coupe. The driver's side also controls the function of the passenger's side so if it's not working the passenger's side will not function properly with the keyless entry remote. Installed it and everything works like a charm. Replacement of this part is not recommended for a novice wrencher. Could damage the 3 bolts which mount the latch and actuator assembly. They're in there TIGHT! The first night working on it I almost cried after hours of unsuccessfully attempting the job in the dark. Attacked the job again a couple days later after understanding how to disconnect the cables to the handles and latch. Got really good at the tear down and reassembly of it all and did it in an hour. Not too much video on the web. Good luck! Happy with the product! Great price!

Fit perfectly on my 2003 accord Coupe. I just watched the youtube video on youtube and took less than 45 minutes. I am happy cause I can now unlock my car with the button again. Much cheaper than OEM. Love it! I rplaced both the passenger and driver side. Make sure you order the intended side. There are two tabs that click in during installation. Only one side would click in the first time I did it, I just removed it and pushed in with more force and made sure they click in at the same time. The window guide track was a pain to re-install. I tried feeding it through the rubber housing sliding it up that way but was too difficult. It is hard to explain, you will see what I mean when you do it. Works great
