It's not just a basic brake cable, it the BEST basic brake cable. It fits and it works. The first cable lasted 28 years. I won't be fully satisfied until this one lasts at least 29 years. By that time I'll be 88 years old and probably shouldn't be worrying about basic brake cables, or driving a 58-year-old truck.
