pointless - it creates a vacuum and you can't get the burgers out. I'm 100% confident that they know about this as I could not imagine it getting out of quality testing without someone noticing this issue.Ended up throwing it away as by time I was able to use it my return period expired.

This worked for my purpose which was to press out 100 patties when trying a new recipe. If you weigh out the ground meat it helps to keep all the patties uniform. works fine with only a paper on the bottom so they easily can be tipped out.

Not impressed. Cheaply made and bits of metal flakes everywhere. I returned it.

Served its purpose. The wood handle doesn’t look like it will deal well with the dish washer. Otherwise a good value

This burger press makes shaping patties so simple and mess-free. The non-stick surface works perfectly, and I love the consistent results every time. Great for BBQ nights!

I wanted to love this, figuring it was a solution to a problem (getting hamburger under my finger nails)... however now it seems like a good idea with a complicated, time consuming, and only mediocre solution. We make our hamburgers with onion included and spices etc.Bad: Couldn't get the patties out of the form without falling apart.Good: The grill pattern makes them look nice when they cookBad: but add to the problem of weakening the patty so it falls apart as you struggle to get it out of the form.Solution: When you look at some other products they come with parchment paper liners. This does not but does suggest it on the box.Bad: So, you can cut liners and have them ready or look for a purchase option.Try: spray oil which I didn't do because hamburger is greasy enough.- OR just make the patties with your hands.SO-SO: Cleaning also wasn't as easy as you'd think because the meat is in the crevice of the product design.I have some parchment paper I never use so I will probably cut it up and put it with the tool and use it until I run out of paper. It is a bummer because I really wanted to like it!

Works just as described. Not a must-have but a nice-to-have kitchen gadget. Easy to clean. I like that it's heavy enough to get the job done but not too heavy.
