This self-adhering fiber patch is very strong and comes in a convenient roll. At 100 ft., this is a very generous amount for the price point. Small patches and snippets of similar material cost $6-12 at home centers: Ridiculous pricing for a very small patch. The quality of this fiber patch is also excellent with thin, strong fiber that really sticks to a dust free surface. I have multiple corners and seams to repair and so far this material is working great for longer sections of outside joints with plenty of overlap at 5.7". Just pull off what you need and cut to size. You can also make custom patches for holes, etc. No need to buy expensive patches at box stores when you can DIY your own. This is perfect for pros and DIYers alike: Way more value here. Just drop it in a bag to keep dust free and add to your drywall /repair supplies.

The most important thing to note about this Drywall Joint Self-adhesive Tape patch is that it's 5.7 inches wide and even large divots can be patched with 100 ft. We were tired of working with narrow patching and this really adheres to the surface. We thought about replacing the wall but we had already put in the surround so in the end we relied on this huge roll and worked. We used this for the most stubborn crack in a shower wall and success!

Wider than regular 2” so covers over area, easier to stick on the wall and apply joint compound. Holds really well to the drywall. Happy with the product. Good price for the length of tape.

While most jobs just call for the standard 2 inch width, some applications can benefit from wider tape. Quality seems on par with similar 2 inch mesh I’ve used in the past. Good strength and good adhesive
