The threads on the male end are messed up on these. They actually start about an 1/8 inch back from the end. They won't screw to a plastic connector like on a timer. But with a metal connection the long start makes it so they don't make a tight connection with a washer on which is probably why they include plumbers tape which I have never had to use with any hose connection before. Swivel and turning work which is why I needed them in the first place.

Easy to install. Made from very durable materials. Doesn't leak. Tightens easily. Motion is full range. I recommend this faucet fixture.

These do the job they are intended for. They swivel in all directions to keep the hose from kinking where it connects to the spigot. They are solid metal, and feel strong and durable. I am using one on my garden hose, and it works perfectly with no leaks. The threads are sized for a garden hose, so they are simple to use. Just me sure the o-ring/gasket is on place, connect this swivel to the spigot, then connect your hose to the other end of the swivel. It is simple and effective. Teflon tape is included, but I personally don't see the need for it. The watertight seal is formed at the gasket/o-ring, not at the threads. Maybe it would make it easier to remove, but I didn't use the tape. The current listing price for two is very reasonable if you need two of them.

super convenient to help arrange my hoses. I have irrigation systems running several directions but only one hose Bibb to attach them this makes it easy to send them off ion the correct direction without a lot of bends in the hose

These swivel connectors seem to do a good job. So far they haven't leaked. I'm using one on the hose in my backyard. It probably won't move that much. The other one I'm using when we go camping in our travel trailer. That one will be moving around and will be connected and disconnected frequently. So far the only thing I've noticed that I don't like is the black grip slipped on the fitting when I was tightening it. We'll see how that holds up over time. Because of that I deducted one star. If it becomes more of an issue I'll update this review.

One of the faucets was very hard to swivel. I may need to put some W-D40 or oil on it to loosen it up.
