While a tad smaller than some other climbing pads, this one is a champ! Extremely firm padding, which I prefer. Much less of a chance of a bend over a rock causing a twisted ankle. Great, tough outer layer. I've been using it for weeks now. looks great, pretty easy to clean. I use it for bouldering as well as slacklining (as a trick pad). Also makes a great sleeping mat if you get stuck out without one while cragging. Plus, can't beat that price!
