Discovered that you could use these in conjunction with an RF cable as the patch cable for a subwoofer. For long distances, I've read it's cheaper than buying an in wall certified RCA cable.The finish is nice and the connection is tight. I confirmed that they work as intended by connecting them to an RF cable and then using it to connect my subwoofer to my receiver. With limited testing, it appeared that the sound quality was the same; plus, the auto on of the subwoofer was still functional.If/when I need to located my subwoofer farther away from my receiver, they'll come in handy.

I have a rather unusual application. I have a 1200 foot "Beverage" antenna (the name of the inventor) that can receive very-low-frequency, down to audio. This helps me connect it to an audio amplifier for experimentation.
