It worked well and I was happy to pack away for next season (25-26). I'm not sure about the quality of the water being drunk as this got a little rusty at cord area.. and slimmy. But it worked well in a 'basic' 5 gal bucket and a much larger storage type bin.

Bought in 2022 so it worked 2 winters. Basically has stopped working this winter. It constantly trips the GFI breaker. I've tried a different GFI breaker plug to make sure it wasn't the breaker wearing out and it's still trips it. Looking at a different heater to finish the winter

Using in a 5 gallon Chicken water bucket with red drinking cups. Purchased this winter when bucket was freezing and this is this perfect size and solution. I use a name brand bucket with a hole in the lid, and just ran the plug end through the hole and dropped the heater in the bucket. Works perfect for my needs. Zero problems.

I have a rent-a-coop chicken water. This heater works well with it. I do have to use the nipples instead of the cups to keep the water from freezing. I bought the heater back in October 2022 and it is still working. I am careful with it and keep it inside during the off-season and I also remove it from the water on warm days. So far so good. Very little rust at this point.

We have a fountain in our front yard this keeps the water warm in the winter so it does not freeze. Love it works great.

Received water heater in 1 day, just in time for the cold freeze. Water heating element works as advertised. Highly recommend Farm Innovations water de-icer 150 watt. I lut de-icer in my rent-a-coop water container. Minus 15 degrees with wind chill in Tulsa. Water nipple and water flows great! And De-icer is MADE IN THE USA! Cost twice as much as the Chinese Junk but I am still willing to pay the price. You get what you pay for.

This heater is marketed for farm animal needs but it's great as a birdbath heater. I had several of those designated for bird baths ones over the years but they were erratic, and while they lasted a few years they didn't keep much open water even in moderately cold times. This model doesn't wobble and pop out of the water, because it's solid and heavy and stays put and keeps the whole birdbath as open water. Very pleased with the performance last winter and I just set it up again before our first snow and it came on fast and reliably right away. It's also a lot easier to keep clean too, than the wire wrapped element of the other kind.Very happy birdwatcher here, it's worth the money. Thumbs up.

Bought this product so that my chicken waterer would not freeze in the winter. This was purchased September of 2021. At first it worked great and kept the water thawed for the chickens fast forward to summer where it is no longer needed. Removed it an stored in a dry safe place. Go to use it this winter and it doesn’t work. At first we thought it was the extension chord but quickly found out it was the heater itself. This product didn’t even last a year an for the price I expected not to have to purchase another one anytime soon. Yet here I am purchasing a different brand because I don’t trust this one. Literally used it one winter an then it will not work. As soon as it’s plugged into a outlet the breaker flips. We gave it a day inside the house thinking maybe it needed to dry off. It didn’t. Still flips the breaker every time. My advice unless you want to spend 70$ every winter don’t buy this product. They don’t even stand behind it for a guarantee. By the time it doesn’t work you can’t return it or request a refund. It’s infuriating how much was spent on something that only got one winter use out of it. The manufacturer shouldBe ashamed of their faulty work. Again do not buy this product.

Does the trick. I have mine in a 5 gallon pail with horizontal water nipples. No issues at -17c
