Speed up the prep process! Docking your dough is a simple, yet crucial step when preparing your pizza or pie. Much faster than using a fork, this small Pastry Docker can be easily rolled over puff pastry, pizza, or pie dough to prick holes for steam to escape while baking. Air pockets will be stopped in their tracks, leaving you with evenly cooked pastries! This docker's smaller size makes it easily usable with both small and large pieces of dough, and it's a breeze to store, unlike other dough dockers. With this must-have tool, you can bake confidently.

Makes pricking a pastry base easy and quick, little plasticky feel but so far it's been fine.

Great tool solid well made not thin and weak so for the well make sturdy ness you lack in width and its fine for me prefer strong over weak breakable tool.

I like this docket, I wanted one small enough for pies and large enough for pizzas. It’s nice and sturdy.

I got this when I went on an Amazon spree; I had purchased a series of inexpensive but terribly useful items and this was one of them. For the uninitiated, this device pokes a series of regular, evenly-spaced holes into dough to allow steam to escape and thus ensure even, crisp dough. I use mine for homemade crackers and for the bottom of pie crusts. I know that the same function could be performed with a fork, but I want consistent, polished-looking results. Thus, the docker. This device does the job, but it feels a tad light. Had I to do it over again, I might choose something made of metal. It hasn't broken or anything, but I'm just used to more substantial tools.

I bought this to use on pan pizza dough. The smaller wheel dimensions make this work well for this type of application (a wider wheel would be hindered by the pan lip). I use it to "pre-pop" the bubbles and so I have less bubble trouble while it's cooking. It is a nice, sturdy, simple and ergonomic design that helps to speed up the process of mass pizza cooking. It is also very easy to wash/clean. The hole in the handle makes it easy to hang on a hook or nail.

I use this for all types of dough and it simply does what it is supossed to and very well. Tips are blunt enough that it does not poke all the way through dough. Width is good for small and large pieces of dough. Heavy plastic is sturdy and easy to clean.

I have looked all over for one of these, and of course I finally found it here! The price was great and sometimes when you purchase something online, you don't really know how big it is going to be unitl it gets to you; well, this was bigger than I thought it was going to be and it is perfect for pizza night. The crust comes out so well using this product compared to using a fork, I highly recomend this product if you make homemade pizzas!

This is a handy size for the home pizza baker. Not bulky to use or store.Washed up nicely in dishwasher. I haven't used a metal-prong docker, socan't compare the two. But this worked great for me and the price was right.

The size is perfect for kitchens with limited storage space. We make a 14 inch pizza every Friday and it gets the job done.I can appreciate the way this pizza docker is made. It's pretty sturdy, and does poke holes nicely and quickly with a simple roll. After about 6 weeks of use, it's still in good shape, easy to clean in the dishwasher. Compared to the or the , this mini size does just a good a job and is much, much easier to store.I give it three stars because it's OK. I am adding a star because the smaller size is nice for my small kitchen.
