we had hoped to share the love of horse shoes with our grand kids, but these are so light you have to stand halfway between the metal stakes we already have. So, not a great choice and disappointing.

Seems like a safer horseshoe game for my two and six year olds. Don’t want to stick stakes in my lawn so I use the bases on the patio. It won’t be sturdy on the lawn unless you use stakes. Overall cute game.
