Tips for using French fries cutter
- Don't apply superman force to the handle. If it doesn't work using medium force, look to make sure that the potato isn't too big to fit through, or off to one side of square blade area and not able to cut straight through.
- Please keep away from children and be careful when cleaning, to avoid accidental injury.
- The french fry cutter is not afraid of water washing,please wipe with a dry cloth after cleaning and store in a dry place if not used for a long time.
- If potato is smaller diameter, make sure to center the potato on the middle of the bladed area. If you place the potato all the way down the cutter will apply uneven pressure and turn askew, and won't be able to cut properly. Just position the potato centered in the square blade area.

First time ever using it the blades bent. NOT worth the money

This french fry cutter does not live up to its expectations. All of the metal involved is very thin and I am just expecting it to break with every potato. It is only strong enough to do regular potatoes, not sweet potatoes. I try to sweet potato in it got stuck. That being said, it does cut decent french fries if you get it to work well. The potatoes you have to use have to be less than 4 inches in order to get them in, so that is a pretty small potato. It came with no instructions or anything, so I don't know if it's dishwasher safe or not, but mine did survive a cycle in the dishwasher. The back part of the cutter suctions to the countertop, I'll be at not very well. The front just has two rubber feet, and I think this would be way better at getting it to stay still if the front also had a suction cup.
