Demand Calculation: Normally, for 25-28mm thickness of the decking boards, we assume 0.50m laying distance of the substructure frames. For the material requirement, this results in: total number of meters of decking boards to be installed / substructure spacing. Example calculation: 100 going meters of boards/0,5m = 200pieces 100 going meters of boards /0,6m = 167pieces
This method of installation not only preserves the full beauty of the wood product, but also provides constructive wood protection by separating the corrugated planks from the actual wooden substructure. This prevents the so-called water pockets, which mostly cause rotting.
Cracking due to visible screw assembly and the risk of injury from protruding screw heads is also avoided. The screed holders are equipped with oblong holes in the left and right areas of the screed mounting. In the middle there is a round hole, in this round hole the screed holder is firmly fixed.
In the two oblong holes, the screws are screwed centrally in the middle or eccentrically, depending on the moisture content of the wood, thus allowing the hidden fastener of the corrugated plank to expand and shrink naturally.
