This is a great boot. I like it so much that I bought an extra pair. (it’s hard to find boots that I like, look good and are comfortable.) Two thumbs up.

I bought these for my husband. They are very high quality leather boots. They have to be broken in of course but so far he likes them. They are obviously built to last so definitely worth the money if you have a husband or are a guy who likes to wear just one pair of shoes until they wear out.

These are lightweight and they fit my wide foot, so I'm happy. I have several pairs of Fryes and these don't seem as sturdy as usual and probably won't last as long, but they are nice boots for the price I paid (under $100). The color seems more dark brown than expected----the oxblood color is understated, but they have a classy, expensive look to them.

Boots are very nice. Quality seems great. They are stiff and will need breaking in, so dont be surprised. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear. Looking fwd to them fully broke in.

I've always wanted a pair of Frye boots, but could never find affordable ones. These are perfect. Great price, great fit, comfortable and look good. I usually wear a size 10 sneaker but based on my experience buying Dr Martin boots, I chose a size 9 1/2 for the Frye boots. I'm glad that I did because they fit perfectly.

Let’s get my one complaint out of the way first. The reason why I only gave them four stars. I feel like the tongue could have been wider. I have to move it over slightly so the edge doesn’t press I to my ankle bones when laced up tight. Other than that the fit is exactly the same as all other Frye boots I own in the same size, very comfortable and sturdy. If I need black boots I wear these.The most gleaming pro point to these boots is the traction and sturdiness. They arrived in the middle of a nice snow storm in my area and I didn’t want to wait to break them in so out I went to do some errands. Not a single slip. I felt planted in the snow and on what would be slippery store floors. They didn’t even squeak.And now minor complaints that I wouldn’t necessarily consider as cons, just observations. I prefer Frye’s leather laces over the laces that came with these boots, but the simple fix is spending $12 on a pair of new leather laces. And the leather is very soft and if you are prone to scuffing against things with your feet the leather will mar and become weathered quickly. Simple fix for that, too. Just get some leather conditioner and buff out any small scuffs. Mine still look new.

I really like these boots. Quality appears to be very good and they look great. Leather is a bit stiff so it will take some time to break them in. Based on other reviews, I purchased a half size smaller than I normally wear and the fit is perfect - I normally wear 12.5 US mens so I purchased size 12 US mens.
