This is a 12" x 12" grate - and my drainage is 12" x 12" and it was a bit too large for it so I am having to make an adjustment. The quality was good - it was just a bit oversized from 12 x 12.

Yeah, most all the full depth cross bars are only full welded on one side and at most half welded on the other. Some aren't even fully welded on either side, leaving very visible gaps. Corners are also showing no effort made to have a nice sharp corner. Just really, really sloppy welding job. This is clearly galvanized at least - slivers and all. Virtually no effort made to clear those at all, so do handle with care! I do worry that the galvanizing won't be fully effective with how bad the welding is, but hopefully I worry for naught.Okay price for what it is, just disappointing overall construction quality.

I have a garage with a 12"x12" square recession in the floor with a round bucket area inside it for melt water to collect. I placed some wood over it in case in ever drive over it accidentally, but wood floats if the area ever fills up with water and if you accidentally drive over it, wood can break or shift. So I needed something heavier that would stay down and not float and survive a car driving over it. This grid seems pretty sturdy and heavy and while I have not driven over it, I suspect it will surely survive. So I recommend this. I had a hard time finding this exact size.
