Solid. This garden hose diverter is the real thing. This thing could handle the water flow from a fire engine. First, it is brass, so it is absolutely durable. The on-off levers are perfectly sized. I suffer from arthritis, and managing the small thumb-on-off levers on the cheaper hose diverters was painful. As for ease of installation, no problem at all. It screws right on. You can even reposition the on-off valves after it has been securely attached to the water pipe. If I could give this 6 stars I would.

I chose this for the “full flow” aspect, as the siphon device I use to distribute liquid fertilizer requires full flow, and I hate to pay extra for a 3/4” vs. 5/8” (or smaller, these days) diameter hose only to have the flow severely limited by a splitter.Pros:- heavy duty feel, seems to be solid brass and well-made- long, easy to turn valve handles- full flow (especially handy for siphon fertilizer systems that require full flow to operate properly)- comes with teflon tape and nice flexible washersCons (almost):- At first, this leaked (just small, slow, steady drips) at the hose bib connection no matter what we did, which was surprising, given the teflon tape and seemingly good washers — we decided it wasn’t that bad, and left it on because the other features were worth it. After a few days, however, it magically fixed itself and stopped drippings, hence this is just “almost” a con.Overall: recommended and would buy another if I needed one!

So far, there have been no problems with the heavy duty brass faucet. It was easy to install. I connected a 50ft soaker hose to one side with a water pressure regulator and a backflow preventer attached to it. On the other side, I attached a 25ft stainless steel hose. I have been able to use both hoses simultaneously when needed. If not, it has been simple to close off one side. I mainly use these hoses for my garden, involving a lot of opening and closing. It seems well-made, but only time will tell how it will perform in the long run.

If you are looking for a diverter this one is a beast and you will not need to look further. Why? This brass fitting does not skimp on features. It is robust in the amount of brass used. When one of the two valves are turned to the on position the water flows at the same rate as it comes out of the hose bib. There is no reduction in the diameter of the openings. I really like the long stainless handles to operate the valve. I use this product to handle my irrigation needs in my backyard. One side is hooked up to an irrigation timer and the other to a garden hose. It sure beats the competition that use those small "T" fittings to turn the water on and off. I had bought one from a big box store that needed to be ordered. When it arrived it was so small in all respects; I returned it. Although it cost more it is worth every dollar. I highly recommend it.

This garden hose valve splitter was easy to install, works great, and the simple quarter-turn valve operation makes turning the water on or off a breeze. It comes with everything you need to set up a leak-free valve connection and it's a great value for the price.

Wow, I have used my fair share of garden tools and implements and this splitter ranks right up there with “things that over-deliver”. Right out of the box, you can feel the difference. This is a high quality device, heavy and built to last. The ball valve handles work very smoothly. This thing will still be working hard when I’m long gone 😎.Highly, highly recommended. Worth every penny.

This three way is fantastic quality! The ball valve levers work effortlessly. Don't fall for those tiny levers, and plastic valve body 2 ways?

Always fun to start a 5 Star review. Here we go:1. This appears to be solid brass, it should really last a lifetime.2. Nice size control levers - They are really just the perfect size. Any smaller and they get to be hard to to open and close. Go any larger and you just don't gain anything.3. Full Flow - This is the connecter that you want connected to your house. Your goal is to let as much water come out of the hose bib that's attached to your house or to your farm hydrant as possible. You ALWAYS want as much water as possible and then you can control that with a nozzle of some sort, or a water "breaker", etc. As soon as you start to constrict the opening you will start to reduce the flow.In the pic's I show the splitter, the size of the inlet where it fastens to the house bib, and the size of the outlet where your hoses will screw on.The inlet diameter is about 3/4" which is about as larger as it can be. The outlet diameter is about 5/8" and you will probably be putting a 5/8" ID hose on there, so there will be no loss in flow through this splitter.==================================Additional Information - My emphasis on getting maximum flow is because it's important. Let's say you are washing your car - you want as much water available as possible so that you get your car washed and rinsed off as quickly as possible. You have other things to do and will want to get going! In my case I do a lot of filling of 5 gallon buckets and some small stock tanks. The slower the water is flowing, the longer I have to stand there waiting for things to fill up.
