I have an irrigation system with lots of different connections and hose and line types.This is a well-made brass connector. Keep in mind that it is, in my view, a specialty item due to the thread sizes. The female connection (the larger one in the product photo) is a standard 3/4" connection, which is what most garden hoses are. The male end, however, is 1/2". It's important to be sure that you can use a 1/2" connection.It's very heavy duty and doesn't leak. The Teflon tape that's provided is helpful for that.Good product for 3/4" to 1/2" applications: Recommended.

The UNWAVER Garden Hose Reel Parts Swivel Elbow Connector is solid and works great. The longer end can be swiveled so that the spray changes a little. Did great to fit what I needed. No leaks and it comes with extra o rings, and teflon tape.

A brand-new adapter arrived in a sealed box. It is well-made, with good machining, smooth surfaces, and no sharp edges. The package includes Teflon tape and spare O-rings. The product description is accurate: 1/2-inch NPT male thread and 3/4-inch GHT female swivel.However, the seller does not specify the lead content in the brass. While some lead is common in brass alloys for machinability, it can range from very low (safe for drinking water) to several percent, which may not be suitable for potable use.

My hose cart has been leaking for a year. It is finally fixed. The swivel elbow connector fit perfectly. I love that it came with extra gaskets and plumbers' tape. All I needed was a wrench. Quality construction. Quality product. I highly recommend.

Replacement part for your hose reel or just a handy piece for your DIY project. Got this for something I'm building and it's perfect. Solidly built, the female hose connection is secure. Other end has standard 1/2 pipe thread. It's exactly what I needed and should hold up long term.

While this UNWAVER brand brass part is intended to replace a faulty part on a garden hose reel, it can be used for other things, but since brass may contain lead, California's Proposition 65 would require a Prop 65 warning due to the presence of any detectable lead. There is no label anywhere on the product or on the box it arrived in, which should indicate the absence of any lead, but it also doesn't say where it was made, neither on the product, the box, or the product page, it would be prudent to limit its use to non potable water uses.The machining is excellent, and the maker supplied Teflon tape for the 1/2-inch threads, as well as spare o-rings, and a washer. It's a nice setup, and a good value in my opinion.

This is a good and sturdy adapter. The product feels solid and will work nicely for my wind up hose reel. The included teflon tape is a nice adder.

This was exactly what I needed for my irrigation system. I had no problems installing. It comes with extra O rings and plumbers tape to limit any leaking. I only used the bigger seal ring, and it fit and worked perfectly. I'm going to attach a nozzle to it for precise water output. This can also attach to your garden hose if needed.
