These do the job - they provide a replacement hose fitting that is rugged and doesn't leak. I don't know how well they will last if you drop them on concrete repeatedly, there is a chance you could crack the clamps, but if treated right they should last a long time. They do a great job of clamping the hose securely in place. Certainly a lot better than hose clamps - and without the cuts (anyone who's worked with regular hose clamps knows that they can quite readily cut your fingers with sharp edges).

REVIEW - YEOAUM Garden Hose Repair Kit, for 3/4" and 5/8" Hoses.I like the design of these hose ends, using the more substantial clamp housing, it has a seam inside that will clamp down into the hose and onto the fitting, versus having a flat hose clamp that is just applying pressure. They heavier and larger than you standard ends, but does not bother me any, not like it weighs 10 pounds lol.The install is super easy, just push the fitting into the pipe, place onto one side of the clamp and screw in the other side. Make sure to alternate between screws when tightening ever few turns to make sure you clamp it down evenly.I think they are value for the money, it runs around 8 bucks to complete both sides of a hose, so I think that is worth it, sure beats buying another hose, there is plenty of spares around the house I could be repairing.Overall, I think they are decent quality, a interesting design and works great. Would recommend 👍

My impression is that these connector clamps are way more "substantial" than necessary. I compare them with simple hose clamps that secure the nozzle to the hose. Such clamps are much lighter weight. I admit that they sometimes require tightening from time to time. However, it is not clear that these massive clamps are any better than their lighter counterparts.

This 4-pack of replacement hose connectors is well-made of great quality materials. No cheap plastic parts here. Just picking them up, you can feel the weight of the brass and zinc metal. And with 2 male and 2 female connectors, you’re covered for both ends of the hose if you need a replacement.The brass part first gets inserted into the cutoff end of the hose. The 2 gray zinc halves act as a clamp that gets screwed together, pinching the hose to the brass fitting. It works very well with no leaks.Just be aware that they cannot be used on the thinner ½” hoses (as the brass insert is too big to fit into the hose).Summary:These connectors are durable and top quality. And the current price of $13.44 for 4 is unbeatable (for metal)! Just check the price at your local hardware store to see how much ONE costs.I’m very happy with them and can recommend.

I received this product through the Amazon Vine program.The YEOAUM Garden Hose Repair Kit is a high quality product that should last a long time. I recently had a cheap plastic connector give out at a very inopportune time, thoroughly soaking me and making a big mess. These ones are made from aluminum and zinc metals and should outlast the hose they are attached to. They will not fit a 1/2" hose, but will fit a 5/8 or 3/4" hose and hold tight with no issues. I have all 3 sizes at my house, but prefer the 5/8" size for sufficient flow without too much weight. If you have damaged the connectors on your hoses or need to cut out a section of damaged hose, then this product in the ideal solution. There are other styles available that use stainless steel screw clamps, but I have found them to be unreliable over time. Those ones also are more expensive and have hazardous edges at the clamps.Overall, I feel I can easily recommend this product and award it with a 5 star rating.
