I just received these WIESVOP garden hose shut off valves and I'm genuinely impressed. The solid brass construction feels incredibly sturdy and well made, a significant upgrade from the plastic ones I've used in the past that always seem to crack or leak. The handles are easy to turn, even with wet hands, allowing for effortless control of water flow. It's really convenient to have the extra rubber washers included too, ensuring a tight seal right from the start. These valves are definitely going to make my gardening tasks a lot smoother.

Works exactly as expected. No leaks, easy to install. Valve doesn't loosen or move unexpectedly. Dropped it a couple times already on cement and nothing happened. Feels durable. Very happy so far.

Put plainly these just work. Hooked up with no fuss and it doesn't leak. It allows me to easily shut off water at the end of the hose for changing out ends or hooking up to a pressure washer.

You can feel the heft a solid brass. The black part feels like hard plastic; I prefer the feel of rubber, which is more elastic. I suspect the plastic will crack and break if you drive over it where as the rubber will likely survive.

I have a long, skinny yard, and my hose spigot is on the opposite side of the house from my garden. A few summers ago, I bought a long hose to keep in the backyard where the plants are. That hose came with a shut-off valve at the end, but in late 2024, the lever that controlled that valve broke off. While I still have the ability to control the water from the spigot, walking an additional 40 feet every time I wanted to switch attachments was getting on my nerves.I ordered this shut-off valve in hopes of returning control to the end of the hose where I'm actually working. I was a little concerned I would have trouble disconnecting the broken valve since my hose came with it, but I was able to remove it with a little elbow grease. This shut-off valve came with plumbing tape and extra washers, which made the installation quick and easy. I do wish that the lever to control the flow of water was a little larger, but the previous one was the same size. While it's not the easiest to turn, it's compact and low profile, which is probably better when it comes to attaching to sprinklers and such.

Very well made, heavy duty shut-off ball valve. Smooth lever action. Put one on my wife's long-reach watering wand and she's happy to be able to pause the flow when she's between hanging pots.

Brass garden hose shut-off valve comes in a 2 pack and is excellent quality. An additional four extra rings come with it. These are so handy to put on the end of a garden hose so they can be shut off fast without having to walk back to the house faucet. Highly recommend!
