This is a very high-quality water hose cut off valve. The on and off lever is a little on the small side, but it gets the job done. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the hole in the valve is a little small for my liking. When using it with a watering wand I don't get the volume of water I would like to get. It's OK when using a sprayer or sprinkler because I don't need the large volume of water. It's very easy to use and doesn't leak at all. I even tried it on a soaker hose and wasn't satisfied with the water flow that I get when using a full volume shut off valve. It functions in all aspects other than the volume of water allowed through the fairly small hole. It's still a good value for the money in that you get two high-quality shut off valves.

OK, and you get a Teflon tape with the set. I wanted to get the shot off valved for my garden hoses. While this being made of a quality brass it is on a lighter side so you don't have to fight with the wight on the end of you garden hoses. Does the job right and super useful.

These are good quality brass hose shut offs. They work, don't leak, come with an extra rubber gasket, and are easy to attach. They make it easy for me to change hose attachments without having to shut it off at the spigot.

Having a 100 ft hose extended and having to change the hose gun to a sprinkler and other attachment is a pain when you have to go back and forth turning the water on and off. This is one of the best things I have gotten to make my life easier. It is sturdy and well built. At times I have used it with no attachments, and it works great to rinse. I have had no problems with this item.

So far these hose shutoff valves are a serious upgrade from the plastic ones with a similar design that I was using. They haven't leaked (yet), they're easy to turn on and off, even with considerable pressure (greater than 300 psi) from our canal system, and they fit our standard hoses just right. While I prefer longer handles on my hose shutoffs, these work just fine and will be far more durable and less leaky than the plastic ones they replaced.

After years of going back to my hose spigot to turn off the water every time I wanted to change a sprinkler or sprayer, I realized that putting a valve at the END of my hose could greatly simplify my life. So I bought these and now I have a shut off at the end of my hose, and I can easily turn the water supply off and change an attachment to the hose without walking around my yard. I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier, but this product can greatly simplify your life. It is made out of solid materials and will last. My only critique is that the valve handle is relatively short, so its not the easiest to turn on/off, since you don't get a lot of torque, but it is still quite easy.

Box arrives with two brass shut off valves with extra hose gaskets and some plumbers tape which is all you need to put the valves to use. The valves should fit most all types of common garden hose 3/4 connections and since I live in the Southwest the brass valves should last a long time. They are a handy addition to your garden hose which will allow you to change hose nozzles, add hose, connect sprayer’s and most other equipment without running back and forth to water source to shut off and turn back on. At the price it is a great addition to your hardware and serve you well for a long time.

Works well! The handle is easy to turn and no leaks from any of the connections. I appreciate the extra gaskets just to have on hand if I come across a cracked one or a connection that doesn't have one. Love having a valve at the end of the hose so I don't have to walk all the way back to the spigot to turn it off before I can swap nozzles. Having two is also useful for front/back yard, or connecting to soaker hoses, basically it's just plain convenient.
