As someone else said, it's a precision made piece. Plenty of resistance levels. Very happy with the purchase. The paddle attachments add extra options. Highly recommended.

This thing is sick. If you're into grip training for sports like BJJ, climbing, golf, maybe injury recovery, or just to build your spaghetti arms, save up and buy this one.Pulling this out of the box feels like picking up a specialized aircraft part. It is so solid and well made, the fit and finish is quality all around. No sharp edges, burrs, or rattle. The corners are all nicely eased and chamfered. The knurling is every bit as good as a high end shop tool or your favorite barbell brand. The fasteners for accessories are held in with hex bolts, Allen keys included. Even the Allen wrenches are plated! The range and type of adjustments are huge!1) By changing the spring angle, you can select between 55lb (25kg) and 198lb (90kg) in five steps. It is easy to do and the instructions are clear, with color pictures and in correct English.2) The grip distance can be adjusted between three levels, which also changes the overall travel distance. This is great for people with smaller hands that can't reach the full distance, however, it can also be used as part of a training program while working up to the next resistance level.3) The grips have extension caps that make the grips longer, therefore providing more leverage.I'm not a climber, I got this model because it has 90kg max weight (versus 80kg). That said I tried the climbing/finger strength attachments. They are also well made, glass filled Nylon I believe. Two stainless steel screws come out, then install the extension caps and the finger trainers, and a longer bolt goes in. Just on the lowest resistance setting I could feel that this would help if pulling myself up by my finger tips was something I did in life.PROTIP: When training, do sets with the device with the springs upright, and with them downwards. This works different parts of your muscle & tendon chain. Do this with regular squeezes, isometric holds (holding it fully compressed for a set time or until failure), and concentric (negative) only focused movement. This variety of work will improve both your strength across the grip range, and your capacity to hold weight for longer durations. To really trip yourself out, try putting your forearm down on a surface with your wrist over the edge, and rep the device with your wrist flexed upwards, then try it with your wrist flexed downwards. The difference in your ability to apply grip pressure based on wrist position is wild and something to experiment with.

25 to 90 kg range is all I would ever need. Id guess the kg rating must be lower with the extensions, due to added leverage,,,, but is still all I can imagine ever needing. The finger pinch add ones similarly increase leverage, but still all the resistance id ever need. I don't find them very comfortable to use, but I tryKnurling on the handles is fairly sharp. For now I'll go with it. If build calluses, then fine. If blisters, then will tape them.Overall, much much nicer than the usual single resistance spring exercisers
