The NEMA L14-30P four-pin twist lock male connector is directly connected to the generator interface (30A/240V/7500W), and the output end is compatible with the NEMA L6-30R three-pin twist lock female connector. I don't know why it took me to today to get one of these. Send I can run electrical outlet thing wire anything electrical in a house normally if I come across a different type of plug I need I run to the store pick up the proper outlet and since I have everything else on hand since I buy the contractor size of different items it normally takes me about 20 minutes from start to finish to run a brand new outlet or wire in a new light.What's this now I can use my one welder over on the other side of my garage. I wasn't going to run to outlets when I only have one welder with that size plug.

I was able to use this to connect my 3 prong 220 cord to my 4 prong generator. This allowed me to use my existing extension cord without having to buy a new one.The process is very easy, and the product is rock solid. Made well, and does what it says it will do.
