The Atlas book is very small, perhaps 3x5. This small size limits its usefulness.

This is an amazing little atlas. I did not know what to expect when I first ordered this project. I thought that it would make a great little gift, but it has sat nicely on the corner of my desk as a reference. Being a fan of paper journals and fountain pens, this takes you back to a day before the digital age where you sat pondering over maps for hours and hours as a child. The print quality is good, as is the paper quality. There are a few blank pages with lines in them for taking any types of notes during your travel. I can imagine myself going on train rides in foreign countries for weeks at a time with nothing but a canvas sack with a few changes of clothes, of course a towel, and this little book sans telecommunications device. At first glance, I actually thought this book was blank for jouraniling with the exception of a few pages of maps, however DO NOT make the same mistake that I did. This book is actually a global atlas with maps for countries and cities all over the world along with exquisite detail of roads, routes and maps. The book comes exceptionally wrapped with a bag, with a box inside, and a book wrapped in another bag inside the box. At first I thought about adding this to my bookshelf, but I changed my mind at how nice this book as and it stays like new in the box. The problem that I have now is what do I do with it?For years I had a DeLorem map of the United States that I used for all of my motorcycle mapping of trips before mapquest. Remember that? My directions consisted of route numbers sketched out on the back of a fiber board torn cover from a cereal box because it was the only type of paper that would last rain or shine on a week long motorcycle trip. I find this map will carry us forward in tradition, kind of like a family having a bible. That is the quality of this book. Perhaps I will keep it as a nostalgic not to our past and my old age, or perhaps it will one day get gifted to someone that would respect the print as older generations have done for millennia. My concern is that technology will arrive and the next generation will be utilizing something that has yet to manifest, a leap frog from the PDA style cell phones everyone uses today, and this type of book will vanish into antiquity for grandchildren to unearth from drawers of gadgets lost to the past when they are bored.

Wow. Excellent quality. I'm very impressed with this. It feels so good to have a real book with maps on actual paper. Remember when paper maps were normal? The leather is nice, the pages are nice, the ink color... This is just and nice book, and I'm grateful to have received it.

This leather-covered atlas arrived as pictured and has such a classic, elegant look (I got the tan version). The pages are the kind used for old reference books, similar to a dictionary (though not quite as thin as dictionary paper). The atlas comes ready to gift to a lover of travel, though I got this for myself. It is pricy at the current price of $65, but this is a quality atlas with a genuine leather cover so I think the premium price is worth it.

What I really like about this atlas is that it's obviously nice quality. The leather cover is beautiful and well made. It's a great size for keeping in a glove compartment, backpack, carry-on luggage, purse, etc. It covers all the major US cities, National Parks, foreign countries, and even has multiple pages for notes. What I didn't like about the atlas is that it didn't have individual states. Instead, it was clumped together as "midwest" "South central" and such. Only a couple of states had their own individual page, like Florida and Hawaii. I would rather have sacrificed the extra pages of "notes" to have each state seperate with their individual page. It wouldn't be such an issue on a larger atlas, but since this one is pocket size, it makes it very difficult to see it as well when several states on on the same tiny page.Overall, the quality is great, and it includes pretty much everything you need for an atlas. I just wish the states were given individual attention. Also, I feel the price point is rather high because of the layout.

This Genuine Leather Travel World Atlas is such a beautiful piece - it immediately gave me that old-school, nostalgic feeling the moment I picked it up. The quality is outstanding: the leather cover is smooth and sturdy, the gold-edged pages catch the light in the most elegant way, and the printing itself is crisp and easy to read. It’s the kind of item that makes you pause and remember when flipping through a real map was part of the adventure, not just something you googled on your phone. The compact size makes it super convenient to stash in a backpack, glove compartment, carry-on, or even a larger purse. It covers major U.S. cities, National Parks, and foreign countries, and even includes a few pages for notes, which adds a nice personal touch if you're someone who likes to jot things down while traveling.Overall, it's a stunning little atlas, beautifully made, and a joy to leaf through - even if you’re just dreaming about your next trip. The price feels a little high for the layout limitations, but the craftsmanship definitely shines through.

A very gorgeous little atlas, which while not as useful as it once might've been, certainly it never hurts to have around and is a lot of fun to browse through. Nice shiny gold page edges, good, clean print quality and easy to read text, a delight!
