What can I say? It’s painter’s tape. It does exactly what it’s supposed to—sticks well, no bleed-through, and leaves no residue when you peel it off. I’ve used it on walls and a few DIY projects without any issues. The black color is kind of creepy and odd for painter’s tape, not sure why they chose that, but it doesn’t affect performance.

This tape works as advertised.FOR PAINTINGI ran a test using household latex paint on some scrap wood and achieved the results seen in the attached photos.Although the wet paint appeared to cause the tape to wrinkle (first photo), it had no effect on the final result (second photo).If you zoom in on the second photo, there are slight blotches where the edge is not utterly clean, but on closer inspection, these were due to the grain of the bare wood and very small amounts of paint making it into imperfections in the otherwise smooth surface.ALTERNATIVE USESMy wife's the painter in the family so actually using this as painter's tape will be her purview. For me, I've always used this and similar 'masking tape' for temporary jobs of holding things together or, as in the case of my study, creating a foul line on the floor in front of my dartboard.RESIDUEAs mentioned above, I used this tape on the floor in my office. It sticks well but also comes off very easily. I've found the "no residue" claim to be accurate.OVERALLI would certainly recommend this product.

Good quality masking tape with a good tack and clean removal. Can't speak to the non-bleed claim just yet, but unless you need some other special purpose qualities this should serve you just fine.

I normally buy only 3M painter's tape because it has the 'right amount' of stick and minimal paint bleed. This product has great stick but still does not remove any underlying existing paint. I have successfully pulled it up and reapplied and it still sticks great. Bleed resistance is at least as good as 3M (I normally get a little bleed on 3M tape - so far, so good on this Geyyang tape). It is easy to tear. So everything about this tape is good.

I am very impressed with this tape; it does what it says. When painting it leaves nice crisp lines and does not bleed through. It peels off very easily when it's time to remove it. It is good quality and value for the money. This is as good as the more expensive tapes, and I would definitely get it again when I need more in the future.

This product cuts, tears, sticks and peels without harming the surface or leaving residue just like the major brands. I really like it and it's about half the price of the major brands. Overall, this is a great value.

I tried black painter's tape for the first time and I'm sold. This tape is strong yet peels off without leaving glue residue behind. I also replaced some blue tape I used three days ago that had already started peeling off on the ends and this tape is perfectly in place.
