I bought this helmet for skiing in winter and riding electric unicycle in the summer. I have had a few crashes with this helmet and it performed perfectly well for all snow and ice encounters. Most impressively, I had a fall forwards onto concrete with this helmet while riding EUC and the chin bar did its job bouncing off the pavement instead of my jaw. The ear flaps keep me very warm in winter but make it hard to hear in summer, but it is quite easy to remove the foam and reinsert it as needed. Also I was able to attach a helmet mirror directly into the mounting point of the chinbar which is super nice to have it securely attached.

On its second use, the plastic piece on the back of the helmet snapped off. We are a skiing family and have owned tons of helmets and have never had this happen before. While it’s not a safety issue, it’s hard for my son to keep his goggles in place. He is a racer and is required to wear goggles too.

Keeps my brain in my skullUpdate: broke the goggle strap keeper clip and gyro answered the phone on the first ring and had a new one in my mailbox in three days! Amazing customer service!

This helmet is exceptional. Great fit, very comfortable. Spin adjusting to tighten precisely. Would definitely recommend this helmet.
