A repair man recommended this for me and I love it. It cleaned out my dishwasher very nicely, helping with a lingering smell I had, when others did not. I will be using this again!

First, people complain the wax seal didn't melt. The wax only melts if the water is hot enough & your dishwasher runs long enough. Be sure to turn on your faucet until it runs hot before starting the dishwasher.Next, be sure you choose a long run cycle with a high temp option if you have it.Then, for those complaining it's not getting rid of hard water deposits, this is more for getting rid of the smells & disinfecting the inside of your dishwasher.To help with hard water issues, I use lemi shine (or you can use whatever hard water removing, detergent booster that works for you). I use a little lemi shine in every load of dishes, then I use this Glisten machine cleaner about every other month.I didn't realize how much we needed this addition until I after the first time I used this. Because I use the hard water remover in every load of dishes, I thought that was enough. Then, I had to have my dishwasher looked at and he asked if I clean out the catch. I had no clue what he meant so he showed me how to remove the parts to get to it. IT WAS GROSS!! We not only scrape off all food from dishes, we also rinse and scrub all the extra bits off since our dishwasher isn't exactly "high quality". But even though there wasn't many food particles, the entire screen of the catch was covered in a thick layer of scum!Since I started using the Glisten, I have noticed a huge improvement. Before I use it, I will find some scummy areas under the drain mat on the floor of the machine and the mesh of the catch is scummy too. But I won't wash them first, I wait until after using the Glisten to see if it actually worked. Lo and behold, each time afterwards, no scum!I now have this on a subscription for every other month and for the price, it is worth every penny!

Other than the scent, I liked how easy and well it worked. Luckily the scent did not linger after usage.

Seems like a waste of packaging and money to purchase this in liquid form. I switched to dry tablets.
