But they need to recognize that this is a wide-angle reflector so people like myself will use it for massive umbrellas and need the hole for an umbrella shaft.I had to take a drill bit to my own to make it usable with my 7ft umbrella and diffusion screen, and would have been great if they did that in factory.

I purchased this after 1+ year using different modifiers to brighten a large paper backdrop. the results are fantastic; it does not narrow the light like a cone, but prevents light from striking areas - the perfect balance between a cone and a softbox/umbrella. it creates a uniform gradients that obviates the need for as much photoshop-ing

I purchased this reflector to use it with for wide bounce, but I located where the hole would have to be for an umbrella and drilled a hole. The results were great with both 41" and 51" Glow Easy Lock Deep Umbrellas.
