This servo was Dead on arrival. When I plugged it in and just sat there twitching with experience I know that this means it's fried. I hooked it up correctly, I understand with these kind of electronics and servos it's pretty standard that you will occasionally get a dead servo right out of the gate when they're this cheap price wise so I'm not even really that disappointed. Had I paid for this I would have sent it back and got another one it's just an inconvenience you have to deal with in the RC world.

I recently upgraded my Hyper Go RC car with the GOUPRC Micro Digital Servo, and I’m impressed with its performance. The metal gears make a noticeable difference in durability compared to the stock plastic ones, which stripped too easily. Installation was straightforward, and it fit perfectly without any modifications. The servo’s response time is excellent—much quicker and smoother than my previous one. Steering is now more precise, and I can feel the improved torque when navigating rough terrain. The ABS shell also seems to help with heat dissipation, preventing overheating issues during longer runs. I appreciate the built-in protection features against temperature, voltage, and blockages, adding to its longevity. One thing to note is that this servo is not compatible with all Hyper Go models, so double-checking compatibility is essential. The included servo horn and accessories were a nice bonus, making the upgrade hassle-free. Overall, this is a fantastic upgrade for anyone looking to enhance their RC car’s steering and reliability.

This servo motor with metal gears is Very strong and should work fine in any rc car or other rc setup. Works well to make one of my rc planes more nose heavy as a pan servo on the fpv camera. Would recommend.

The metal gears feel solid, and it handles rough driving like a champ. Super easy to install too. Definitely worth it if you want better control and durability!

This servo is geared to easily pull the steering rack on my Typhon 6S. The rack is tight for some reason probably due to the drive shafts and the fact that it sits high due to shock absorber set up. The servo overcomes the tightness and pulls the rack to its limits without any straining. Also very quiet probably due to the metal gears. Easy to mount on the two screws and quite a range if adjustment due to the 25T (fine) mounting peg which helps create the desired setting that optimizes the 180 degree range.

I got this servo to use in animatronic applications instead of an R/C car. So I need something that's strong with gears that won't strip or slip. This servo so far is performing like a champ. I love the metal gear servos for their toughness, and being waterproof is an added plus for outdoor props. Also, at 0.12s/60deg, this is one of the fastest servos out there in this price range. The variety of servo horns and mounting hardware is also a plus. The output shaft is 21T and 4.9 mm in diameter. If you're a tinkerer and using your own servo drivers, you may want to know that a PWM pulse in the range 1 - 2 ms results in a servo swing of 45 - 135 deg. A pulse of 0.5 - 2.5 ms results in a range of 0 - 180 deg. If you go outside the 0.5 - 2.5 ms range, the servo will stop responding altogether and could be damaged by excess current draw. I accidentally destroyed one of these servos that way.

This low voltage servo has quite the punch of power; operating at a max of 6v this is perfect as an upgrade to quite a few 1/18 and 1/16 scale RC cars. The movent is smooth and fairly quick; and the motor/gear sound is fairly quiet. The included servo horns are good added value, but can easily be paired with a metal 21t servo horn. Only time will tell if the servo durability will hold up to any abuse, but from my testing; this seems to be a good quality servo at a very affordable price.
