The Guardian Fall Protection "2-Way Universal Standing Seam Roof Clamp" fits most brands and styles of standing seam roofs and is completely reusable. Its unique reversible design allows for seams up to 1-Inch to make sure you've got the perfect anchor from job to job. This product anchors securely without causing damage to the completed roof. This anchor is designed for one person single tie off and can be used with retractable lanyards, vertical lifelines, and shock absorbing lanyards. The compact size makes this anchor easy to store and move around the job site. This anchor meets all applicable anchor durability reusable/temporary standards as set by OSHA. This product is not to be used in a horizontal lifeline system, closer than 4-Foot from an edge, and the fasteners are not included.

Packaging, design and quality all see high. The roof clamp seems better suited for a standing seam roof that has nearly vertical seam joints. My roofs joints look like an upside down letter V. Because of the V shape, the clamp would not bite or clamp the metal seam, just squeeze off.

Turns out it doesn't work with 26 gauge metal roofing. Dents it and mars the paint on the standing seam. Couldn't get ahold of customer service at the company and they didn't return phone calls or emails. Instructions do state that it should be used with 24 gauge or thicker, but instructions are included with the product, so I didn't get them until after ordered. I returned the product.
