The stand is comfortable, nice and high, and stable. I was a little disappointed in the amount of creaks when climbing, but not to the point of being a game changer for me. The stand is apparently designed more for rifle hunters rather than bow hunters, as the platform is rather small. I would not feel comfortable standing with a compound bow to take a shot. I use it with either a cross bow or rifle. The seat, while comfortable, does not fold up to allow more standing space, or to keep snow and leaves off while not in use. My adult son and I put it together in about 3 hours and spent about 30 minutes attaching to the tree. I thought the directions for assembly were fine. Definitely a two man job. I would recommend using a tree on the wider size so more of the stand teeth have room to grip. I would buy the stand again.

I like the seat very comfortable, but the ladder could have been better built, it flexes to much I had to put more 2by4 braces from ladder to tree at every section to make it safe for climbing.

Very comfortable but would it hurt to send enough plastic washers to do the job right.Seat bars were difficult to get in but rest of assembly was pretty easy.Called manufacturer and said washers were out of stock.Really poor customer service!17 ft to platform, might be 20 to the top of your head!

I own two of these stands and I absolutely love them. I can sit for many hours in complete comfort. If you mount it just right on your tree, it's so comfy that you could even fall asleep in it. I have! Lol! I have also killed four deer out of this stand just in the last month. It is quiet and comfortable, and the bar holds my crossbow and rifle perfectly while I watch and wait. I am a female hunter of average strength. I weigh 160 lb and have trouble following written directions, but even I was able to construct this stand all by myself from start to finish with only a socket wrench. I had no help from another human. If I can do it, literally anyone can.
