We use these when ours go out and will order them again and again. They are exactly what we need and they work perfectly and fit our tankless hot water heater perfectly. Check your model and make sure you’re getting the right piece but this one is worth the purchase.

Hopefully it lasts a while, but after 3 months I'm still happy with this coil. Install as easy as the OEM removal, and immediately had hot water back to my faucets. I'll keep this review updated if anything changes, but for now 10/10 would recommend.

Used on EcoSmart ECO18 unit: Overall quality seems kind of mixed as I have had to purchase a second set as the first set was overheating and tripping the thermal bi-metal re-settable breaker which would give alternate hot and cold water while showering and at the taps as the thermal breaker would trip and reset during operation. I also noticed discoloration on the outside of the heating chamber where the element sits inside chamber indicative of overheating of copper surface. The description is mixed in terms of wattage. It states 18,000/18KW watts in one area and 9,000/9KW watts in other areas of descriptions. This would explain the overheating issue if actually 18KW on some elements which has not occurred with all elements used but with a couple of them. Did notice the resistance when putting an Ohm meter to them were all within expected ranges. It seems operation of elements may be inconsistent and could cause overheating within some units. Just a friendly heads up if you get the same symptoms.

This went in an EcoSmart 18 on-demand water heater. I had a problem getting the gasket/rubber washer to set correctly, but ultimately that was because my gate valve in the garage was defective. IT WAS SMOOTH SAILING once I turned the water off at the house supply line.
