I originally got this for my boyfriend to use on his office chair in the garage. It did keep him a little cooler, however, he found that it made the seat too slippery and ended up not using it.Now Iâm using it in my car. Itâs comfortable and I like it, but don't leave it in the sun! It also gets HOT! Also just be aware that the beaded texture might shift a bit, especially on smoother seats, so some people might find it less stable.

We have a lot of cushions in my house, generally some sort of foam or a hexagonal rubber system inside of fabric. This doesn't have any covering and is a rather hard ceramic. It is also very large for this type of cushion. If you know that is what you are getting, and you want that type of pad, then go for it. For anyone else, this is an expensive and hard pad that you will likely regret buying.

I have back issues that being in a car for any length of time are made worse.. I used this product for multiple vehicle trips today and I found it very comfortable but it needs to be said that we're still in mild temps right now. I did not feel it did any cooling, I found it comfortable against my aching back muscles while driving.UPDATE: So the triple digit heat is officially here and if you have zero window tint on your vehicle windows this product will feel like you are sitting on a hot plate! I moved it to another vehicle with dark window tint but that vehicle can be toasty as well so it won't stay there. The heat here is far too intense and this product is not capable of cooling your back when it's over 100 degrees. I'm giving it four stars because it should not be marketed as a cooling product. Better to market it as relief for achy back muscles when sitting in uncomfortable seats or chairs. I think this would be best if used in leather office chairs or a favorite lounging chair. That's where this item will be used from now on till we get into fall temperatures.

I was skeptical but given all of the wooden bead covers the taxi drivers in Chicago used to use I figured I'd give it a try. I have a truck with an extremely uncomfortable passenger seat so I was going for the comfort part of the product not the cooling aspect. The cooling aspect is pretty good especially if you have leather. The terracotta is perfect for this it seems and it's connected with a plastic net that gives is a little extra support. The pad that it's attached to helps keep it in place but I didn't find that it helped with comfort much.Bottom line if you're looking for more ventilation and cooling for your seats this is pretty great.

I'm shocked by how comfortable this beaded seating pad is it did not look like it was going to be comfortable at all these little ceramic beads look like they would bother you more than anything but holy heck fire whoever discovered this is freaking amazing!I can sit on this all day and have no back pain in my work chair. Also, itâs amazingly cooling. Yeah that sounds a little crazy but your butt mustnât get too hot during the day. I could see this being great for a truck driver or somebody who drives a lot during the day. Itâs helped me with my work desk and chair. I would highly highly highly recommend this product!

This cushion is not nearly as uncomfortable as I expected from previous car seat cushions with bumps on the sitting surfaces. It's pleasant and I can slide around on it in the driver's seat of my car without it rolling up or shifting position. I removed the cloth layer by detaching the small loops from the ceramic beads at the corners and edges. This allows my ventilated seats to blow through the bead layer while I'm sitting on the beads.Keep in mind that the cooling effect can only be experienced in an environment with a reasonable temperature. When I left it in my car through midday and subsequently sat on it, the beads were just as hot as the car interior. This is not a magic cushion that will always feel cool.
