Great nutritional supplement to put in homemade dog food. I make a 10 meal batch at a time and this is mixed right in. Don’t have to worry about dog sneezing or turning its nose up and refusing to eat.

We've had a couple of horses that always seemed to have messy legs and hind ends (need I say why?) and since we had tried a number of prescription items to solve the problem and none of them helped at all we decided to try this. We still use it everyday for those horses and no more messy horses to hose down everyday. Not sure why it works but it has for us for over a year now. Stopped a really serious problem for horses and their owners (US!).

My ducks aren't dead or malformed due to vitamin B deficiency, so presumably this works.My horses didn't eat any, though, because they're imaginary. They attempted to draw me into an eldritch pocket reality by latching onto me with their tongues, but I'm pretty sure it was unrelated to the brewer's yeast.

Love the product for my horses, dog and family............BUT..........this lid is impossible to open. The tab breaks off and I end up using a pair of scissors to stab the top til it cracks and manhandle the lid into pieces to open this up..........what a crappy lid set up !!!!!!!!!!!I've been having this problem for years and still they don't improve this lid...........please listen to your consumers and fix this.To those that say their horses don't like the taste, just soak some alfalfa pellets in water, I'd say at least 2 lbs, and add this in. Alfalfa is so tasty and horses love it so much that no matter what you think of smell or taste, they will eat it happily. Adding alfalfa pellets to your routine horse feed is an excellent idea anyway......alfalfa is a super food.

I'm glad some other reviewers complained about the "easy open lid." Because of that, I really looked it over before I started. I have carpal tunnel, so my hands are weak.Put the bucket on the counter. Grab it like you're going to waltz with one arm. Keep that arm and hand in place until it's open. Make sure the lid is completely clockwise. Position your other arm across the top so the little red piece in the middle of the plastic bump on the side of the lid is farthest from you. Position that hand above the red piece. Use your first two fingers to lift that little red piece up while gently leaning on and turning the lid counter-clockwise. It doesn't take any strength at all, thank goodness. It just has to be lined up. Hope this helps!Great brewer's yeast, too! Keeps fleas off my cats and dogs. I dust all our pet food with it. Good price.

My Arab suffers from "sweet itch" or allergies from bug bites. He will have itchy scabs along the center of his belly all summer. He will also rub his tail and mane out. I was given Brewers yeast as a suggestion to minimize his allergic reaction. Last summer I added this product with ground flax seed to his diet and noticed an amazing improvement. No tail or mane rubbing all summer and his belly was much better. This product is an inexpensive way to help my itchy horse.

Boy oh boy...the 'new easy off lid' is not easy off at all! I've had all sorts of supplements and buckets but this system has me baffled. I could not get this bucket open!! I pushed, pulled, twisted and then tried to do all of that at once...nothing. Finally, after an hour and two screw drivers I got the lid off. The old style pry off lid would have been a whole heck of a lot easier. Lid was trash so I had to find another container to put the product in. I have a pony with bug allergies and several old horseman had recommended Brewer's Yeast as a possible help for the pony. They suggested I start to feed the supplement now so I placed my order. The product itself looks to be ok but the container was awful!! If it does work and I need to place another order I'm going to have a pair of heavy duty snips on hand and just cut the lid off.
