The valve handle is nice and big - much easier to turn on and off than smaller handled options. However, the provided gaskets are too thin to seal the female end to the hose bib. Lucky enough here to have thicker silicone gaskets also purchased from Amazon.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BXSKBGB3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_titleBecause the gaskets are inexpensive makes the combination a great deal. Otherwise, this review would be more negative.

This is a four pack of garden hose shut off valves. They are plastic, but are very well made and pretty heavy. The set also comes with four extra washers. The valve handle moves smoothly back and forth. I have different hoses in different areas and I plan on using these so I can switch out attachments without having to run back to the main water valve to shut It off or pinching my hoses. Just a nice little handy thing to have.

These little shutoffs are affordable and effective - Just what I needed!I have hoses run out to various areas and only a couple good watering heads. Rather than walking back and forth a couple hundred feet to turn hoses off & switch heads, it's so much easier to turn it off on site and remove the head. Then I can take it to the next hose end, connect it, and turn it on, on-site.Well worth it!

Thick plastic valve. Expect these will last quite a long while. Not as strong as brass but this is a solid valve. Not going to break easily.You ger 4 of them to put on every hose you may have.

Generally speaking, I'd rather have brass valves than plastic, but these ball valves are pretty good. They are heavy duty, operate smoothly, and can regulate flow. They come with spare gaskets. These are inexpensive enough that I can put a shut-off valve at the end of each of my garden hoses.The flow out of the valve is somewhat disturbed, but that's probably to be expected. The picture shows two rolls of teflon tape, which were not included. That's not really a problem since you don't use tape on garden hose threads - the gaskets provide the seal.
