The ice blue pole is by far my favorite fishing rod. Given the cheap price point, I prefer to fish with this over my St Croix premier ice rod. It is extremely sensitive. I purchased both the 24" and 36" light action rods. I would suggest not buying the 36" in a light action as it is almost too sensitive and does not have enough backbone to get a good hook set, this is not a problem in the 24" model.
