The quality on this is bar none! It works very well and is made of quality materials. The thing is heavy and built to last. The machining is also great. The other brands that are out there, with chrome plating, just don't have the same precision. It also looks as if it was somewhat machined and not just cast like the other imitations. Buy this one, you can't go wrong.

I do all of my own servicing and work on my bike so I needed a spoke wrench for those times when I needed to replace or tune a spoke. I bought this tool because I didn't know exactly what size my spokes were and thankfully there are all the sizes you would ever need because the prior owner of my bike used different size nipples on the rims. My only reason for rating it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is made of very mild steel with no finish to speak of. Every time I use it, I have to wipe it down with an oily rag otherwise the next time I want to use it, it's very rusty. So other than that I am very happy with this tool. It's simple, has very easy to read spoke sizes on it and is well made, but be aware that the steel is very mild and will rust if you don't keep it oily..

good high quality metal, should last a while. A little heavy for leaving in your on board tool kit, but doesn't pose any problems for the leave at home bag.

Probably best kept as a shop tool. Unless you need several sizes of spoke wrench on the trail, you'll be better off bringing a lighter spoke wrench, or using one from your multi-tool. This is a very heavy piece of hardened steel, and is a very good spoke wrench. It gives ample leverage, is easy to use, and will probably last a lifetime, even in a very busy shop.Great piece of kit!

I had hoped for a variation of sizes so that I could select the tightest fit as needed. I am disappointed. This wrench offers a variety of sizes ... but most are so large as to be of little use. I repair several hundred bikes each year. The most commonly used sizes are .127" and .130". But the smallest opening on this wrench is .130" and all the other slots are larger. Also, the number 15 slot (which equates to .130") is repeated one across from the other. And although both slots are labled as the same size 15, the two slots measure as .130" and .134". Likewise, the number 14 slot is repeated. One slot measuring as .138" and the other as .143". With no logical explaination, I have to assume poor quality control.For my routine bicycle repair situations, the sizes offered are not useful and sadly the quality control is low.I regret this purchase .... but too small to bother returning.

Excellent product, made in Taiwan. The gauge markings are clear so I can quickly get to work. The wrench made it extremely easy to replace a broken spoke and tighten the new one. My old spoke wrench was too small to work on a new bike, so it's great to have all the sizes at hand. This is vastly superior to using a crescent wrench!!! I'm very pleased with the precision and high quality. It's so nice to have a solid grip on the metal and plenty of leverage on both sides of the spoke.

This spoke wrench seems well made and durable, and versatile for different bikes since it has slots for most popular spokes nipple sizes. However, although it is supposed to made from CRMO, it seems just as heavy as regular steel - quite heavy for it's size - so unfortunately I won't be taking it with me on long road bike rides like I had hoped. A single-size barrel-type spoke wrench is much lighter and would be much better suited for this application, so I will now be looking to purchase one of these as well.
