I use these all over my studio, and they are very well built. (Like the title says, just like everything else I've ever bought from Impact.) Most of the time I prefer the one with the wing handle, rather than the long lever. The lever might provide more... leverage, but it gets in the way more often than you might expect. This clamp does well on a pole mount, a table edge, table leg, the thin edge of a closet door when you need something temporary and don't want to move stands around, etc. There's just not much more to say other than they are an incredible value.

I bought this to run a video light off from on-location shoots. Works awesome!

Love the versatility of the Super Clamp. Had just one for a long time and always wished I had more. Finally slowed down enough to purchase three more and absolutely love them for quick light head hanging. Sturdy durable and strong. Well made!

This is as good as the Manfrotto 035 Super Clamp in most respects except the plastic parts. The removable wedge doesn't store properly behind the set screw without deforming the part. Buy the Manfrotto if the lower profile T-handle isn't important to you.

Solid construction that provides a study base on a lot of surfaces like edge of table and a pipe. The versatility of the adapters allow a lot of options to adapt to. A photographer friend recommended it as his go to mount in the field. Glad to have something like this for my own random projects.

I recommend the Impact Super Clamp with T-Handle ($26, incl shipping) and I'll compare it to others I also own and use: Manfrotto 635 Quick Action Super Clamp ($38, incl shipping) and Manfrotto 035RL Super Clamp with 2908 Standard Stud ($36, incl shipping). The 035 is the "traditional" supper clamp with a long ratchet handle. All 3 hold 33 lbs (15 kg foreign) and are roughly the same size and weight, except for the handles. I like and need the short tee handle for close work on C-stands where it is critical that the long ratchet handles do not snag clothing, wires, etc. and cause safety problems or damage gear. The short handles on Impact and Manfrotto are rounded and hard to snag. The Impact handle is a little shorted and smaller than the Manfrotto, but not enough to seem more difficult to tighten (to me). I assume Impact is made in China, with everything bad that means. But the quality of Impact and this item in particular seems reasonable. I put it to the test with my own weight and it didn't fail. The important difference. is price. The $2 extra within the Manfrotto family is probably okay for a "new and improved" product. The $12 difference (68%) over the Impact is unacceptable, to me. What really irks me is that the Euro has fallen from $1.30 to $1.10, 85%, so the Manfrotto price ought to be more like $32 or a little less. Anyway, The Impact has good quality, roughly the same specifications, and much better price, so I strongly recommend it over the way overpriced Manfrotto equivalent for this one product.

I shoot Junior and Senior High basketball games and wanted a clamp to mount a couple of manual flashes to the practice backboard assembly you find in most gyms. The original super clamps are exactly what I wanted, but are not currently available with Prime. I found what appeared to be a very close copy, if not identical, provided by Impact. Between the difference in purchase price and the additional shipping charges, I was able to save just under $10.00.After receiving the clamp, I was pleasantly surprised with the utility and quality of the Impact clamp. I have used it several times now and it has performed flawlessly. All and all ... a good purchase.
